Management of the Impact of Human Rights
AfreecaTV has taken measures to eliminate negative human rights impact by adding clauses to the BJ contracts specifically aimed at eradicating human rights violations. These clauses explicitly state that BJs will not produce content related to human trafficking, forced labor, child exploitation, or any form of oppression. Furthermore, if a BJ creates content that involves serious human rights violations, their contract may be terminated. These clauses came into effect from June 2023 and apply to both BJ's renewing their contracts and new BJ's entering into agreements. AfreecaTV is committed to ensuring that the content provided through their platform has a positive impact on all stakeholders, and they will do their utmost to uphold these provisions.
